The College of Teacher Education is dedicated to shaping future educators who are competent, compassionate, and committed to excellence in teaching. Through a rigorous curriculum, immersive practice teaching, and values-based formation, the college equips students with the knowledge, pedagogical skills, and ethical grounding needed to inspire and educate the next generation. It offers specialized programs aligned with national education standards, preparing graduates for professional licensure and impactful careers in basic and higher education.

To envision a progressive community where everyone works in harmony, contributes to build a successful, progressive and an advancing society by providing the students with necessary knowledge, skills and values.

The Teacher Education Department takes upon itself the task of developing in the students the necessary knowledge, attitudes and values to become socially responsible, morally principled, service oriented, environmentally concerned, and globally competitive individuals.

  1. Loyalty – To become dedicated and committed to the goals and aspirations of the department and the school, in general and to be proud of being an SPCian.
  2. Integrity – To uphold moral authority and to practice the principle of honesty at all times and treat people with respect based on values rather than on personal gains.
  3. Services – To actively and voluntarily participate in any community activities to build a good society and gain meaningful experiences through the services of one’s fellowmen with compassion and kindness.
  4. Excellence – To exhibit the best results/outcomes of any performance in the different activities through a highly qualified, experienced, and committed faculty and staff with the effort to accept positive changes.

The Teacher Education aims to:

  1. Equip the students with knowledge, skills, and values necessary to become effective and efficient educators.
  2. Develop the effective communication skills of the students.
  3. Employ varied approaches and techniques for diverse learners.
  4. Produce globally competitive future teachers.
